Speargun Maintanence
- After every use, rinse the entire speargun with plenty of fresh water — especially the trigger mechanism, Power Mod, and shaft guide.
- Let the speargun dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated place.
- Never store it wet or in sealed plastic containers.
- Once a year, apply a thin layer of teak oil to the wooden body to maintain water resistance and finish. Small scratches can be removed with fine sandpaper before re-oiling.
- Replace rubber bands regularly (at least once per year or earlier if cracked).
- Inspect the spearshaft for any signs of wear or deformation — especially if it’s been used to pry it out of rocks — and replace it if damaged.
For internal maintenance or trigger replacement, always contact authorized SPIKE service.
